Changing to WordPress
Thursday, August 30th, 2007I started out using Mambo in late 2004. The development team of Mambo moved on to Joomla and I followed along. Joomla has been working out fine for me, but it is overkill for what I need. So I have decided to try out WordPress instead. WordPress appears to be a lot simpler to use, but there are of course a few things here and there I need to play with in order to fully understand how the software works.
I will be transferring some of content I had in Joomla to this new WordPress installation and I will also need to figure out how to get a decent photo gallery and photo lightbox solution working with WordPress.
